Agreement to terms

By accessing or using ChalkLearn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of service

ChalkLearn provides AI-powered tutoring on a live whiteboard. The service includes text and voice-based interaction with an AI tutor, session recording and replay, and related features. The AI provides educational guidance and should not be considered a substitute for professional academic instruction.

Accounts

You must create an account to use ChalkLearn. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

Subscriptions and billing

ChalkLearn offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect active billing periods.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use ChalkLearn for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
  • Use the AI tutor to generate content that violates academic integrity policies
  • Share your account credentials with others (except Team plan members)
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
  • Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal usage

Intellectual property

ChalkLearn and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ChalkLearn and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your session content belongs to you, and we do not claim ownership over it.

AI-generated content

The AI tutor provides educational assistance based on AI models. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. ChalkLearn is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content. Always verify important information with authoritative sources.

Limitation of liability

ChalkLearn is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of ChalkLearn after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
